The Italian Unification

At the start of 1815, nationalist movements spread all along Italy.

These movements started after the fall of the Napoleonic Empire on the nation of Sardinia-Piedmont (later the Kingdom Of Sardinia) in Northwest Italy. They declared war on its neighbours with the purpose of annexing them and ultimately, forming the Kingdom of Italy.
